The holiday season is upon us and all the hustle and bustle it brings can sometimes be overwhelming. It’s important to slow down and take a moment to recognize the need around us and how we can help meet those needs. Winston Churchill said, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” We are so honored to have been part of Darling Magazine’s ‘Darling Dinner’ for Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles this past week. DWC’s mission is to provide permanent supportive housing and a safe and healthy community fostering dignity, respect, and personal stability, and to advocate ending homelessness for women.

Seventy women who have transitioned out of homeless and now reside at DWC’s on-site housing attended. This was a special night of celebration and festivities, food and fun for all. We are thankful and humbled that we were able to contribute something as simple as our linens and napkins. Thank you to Darling Magazine for including us and organizing a memorable evening for these amazing women.

How wonderful are those ornaments by Magnolia?! Such a special touch.
