La Tavola recently had the supreme pleasure of sponsoring and attending a fundraiser for the Community Environmental Council, hosted by event designer extraordinaire Merryl Brown at the Fess Parker Double Tree Resort. The outdoor Plaza was resplendent in moss-covered statues, towering trees, and fabulously costumed wood nymphs, fairies and satyrs!!!
The theme for the evening was certainly ‘green’ with a calculated “97% diversion rate (meaning that 97% of the waste produced by the event was diverted from the landfill to recycling or to a food waste composting facility.)“
There were sooo many thoughtful and unique details that went into the planning of this event its hard to know where to start! So lets take a look first! 😉
The tables shone beautifully in our Dazzle – Moss table linens! And the food on top was delicious!!
The perfect linen for a fairy/woodland whimsical feeling indeed!
LOVED the beautiful fairies in their exquisite costumes, designed by Tricia Fountaine Design!

Guests danced the night away after a succesful auction and left with full tummies, and a little bit of forrest magic and eco-friendly inspiration in their lives. 😉
